It was a cold day on February 16, 1954. My mother Violetta had gone into labor the night before. At 2:30 am Feb. 16th she gave birth to a 7# 2oz baby girl. Lo and behold, 32 minutes later out popped a 7# 6oz. girl. I was the first born and my twin sister was the latter. We were fraternal twins; i with a headful of hair and her nearly bald. My dad wanted to name us Pamela and Paula but mom won out. So hear is where my life began as Viola and my twin sister as Nicola.
